Okay, call me crazy, but I think I want an RRC for a daily driver more than I want another D2. My commute is only about 20 miles round trip... I don't think I would have to worry about killing the poor truck. I came across this post on rangerovers.net with no price associated with it. How much would you pay??

It is in very good condition and I have spent about $5000 in last 2 years on repair to drivers leather seat.......new head liner......servicing ( fixing oil leaks etc) it has no rust other than a small amount on rear tail gate window (normal for this model) the suspension spring conversion has been done.

It has 140k miles on it and runs great, has good air and everything works other than cruise control

Last model year for the classic and rare body kit by Tom Walkinshaw Racing (Brooklands TWR)

If you ever need to replace any of the TWR specific parts, you ain't gonna find them. I found out today that many of the "Body" parts for the '95s are unobtainable (right Steve?).

With that mileage, it might be worth as much as the approximately $5K one of my clients paid for one two weeks ago.

It's worth what you're willing to pay for it. Me, I'm a CB and pay as little as possible.

Say what you will, but the TWRs are fucking nice.

If you look carefully you'll see that many of the styling cues for the Mk III rangie come from this RRC variant.

I sold nearly the same truck to my friend for $7500 and he had no problem selling it on for the exact same price a year later.

In my book that shows what the market will bear.

Furthermore, the Brooklands aint no offroad truck. It's a ski limo. Drive it up to the mountains in bad weather and on the pavement the rest of the time. Don't fuck up the cool bumpers by going offroad, it aint worth it. Do that in something with an LT230 and no body kit.

These trucks are sweet. We would go rolling around in the TWR and felt just as styling as if we were in a RRS, but without the ostentatious price tag. Anything else just looks like some old POS rangie.

I love that truck.

I would love a 95 Classic LWB as a daily driver.

I've been following prices on them from about coupla years now, and I don't know shit about nuthin', but I think $9000 is way too much and $5000 is a little low.

Ron, I know you've been following classic prices longer than I have, but do you see many this clean for $4000?

I was thinking $6,500 was fair; if I were selling it I'd be firm on Jack's price.

If you see one this clean for $4,000, let me know. I might have to take the plunge.

Just so you don't have to worry about finding the Brooklands body parts, I'm willing to sacrafice my 90 RRC in trade for it. sound like a deal?

the rockers are different..

Ok, but arent they just covers that rivet on where the "normal RRC" plastic slider goes? Not actually different sheetmetal Im assuming.

and the exhaust tip.

C'mon. One trip to Pepboys, and I could do the same

TWR wheels are nice I must admit.

But aside from that stuff, its no different than a run of the mill 95 RRC.

The 94 with just over 100k sat forever for sale at 3500 before being wholesaled. The 95 (which I drive everyday) and is almost trouble free for 4 years and 25k (now 145k) sold for less than that then and is at best worth 3k now.

140K and $9K just seems out of line. i don't care if Brooke Burke wiggled the bean in the back seat.......the price seems a bit out of line for the miles, etc.

there's no doubt it's a nice truck.

Okay if Brooke Burke did that I would pay 9k.

Jack I still wish I would have come to cali for that truck.
