Ian Fleming mentioned women drivers in one of the Bond novels. He wrote that a woman driving with passengers couldn't just listen to her passengers; she had to see their faces to gauge their meaning and mood. So, he reasoned that two women in a car were hazardous, three were dangerous, and four were destined for an accident.
