Anyone here work in IP?

Discoweb/forums are not my first resource in my search for work, but in this market, leave no stone unturned.

I finish law school in May and I plan to relocate back to the Southeast.

This is not the place to recite my r?sum?, but I currently work full time as an engineer.

PT- move your empire to Charlotte. I don't live there, but I get the impression there is a void in the indy LR shop market. No more snow. All you have to do is ignore the NASCAR BS.

Whoever you end up working with just make sure it is NOT the Southern Environmental Law Center. Those are the bastards that killed Tellico.

I used to work in an IP law firm but I have no familiarity with the field in the SE US. The two best trademark applications that came across my desk were for:

1. Fossilized dinosaur shit. Product name: Endangered Feces.
2. A cheater kit for passing drug tests. Product name: Urine Luck.

I've used Kilpatrick Stockton for patent work. They make a lot of money and make the customer do most of the work. Sounds like the ideal setup if you're the lawyer.

Congratulations. You should have at least stopped in and had one drink. But seriously, folks, that's good news. Well done.
