...That's not how to package something.

Either way, just look at the pictures at the beginning of the thread. The thing is filthy. It clearly hasn't been treated carefully; or even wiped down on occasion. It's a total shit-box.

So what if it came with one dent in the side? The damned thing has obviously been bouncing around in the back of his pickup garden. UPS didn't roll it in dirt and tear half the finish off over a period of several years.

It was given to them that way, and if it was packaged in wrap like that (which I don't doubt for a minute) it's not their fault it received a few extra knocks for good measure.

People do ship things like that; people like Dan. I've dealt with them many times before. They're absent-minded, demanding, contrary, and expect the rest of the world to offset their laziness by shouldering the responsibility.

I hadn't seen this thread until just now. It cracks me up how people there interact with Dan as though he's a reasonable person to have a conversation with.

For posterity, this is how Ironman claims Dan's fridge arrived. Unless they faked the UPS label, I'm inclined to believe them.

That thread is over 6 pages long now too. I couldn't keep paging thru more Iron Man Fridge dribble but it didn't sound like Dan's bitching was getting much support over there either. I think he got banned on page 2, not sure if that means after that thread or what.
I just hope when he comes back it's without that damn rainbow flag avatar his wife is making him fly. Somebody should find that epic Kenny and Chapman fight thread when he posted those pics of his wife with the money and she dragged him out of here by his ear. Bump that thing to the top if anybody knows how to find it. Kenny you gotta know where its at, it got you banned.

I think it was Glock vs Sig, and those were the parts of the argument that got me banned.

Don't be getting me in trouble again, though. I'm on good behavior.

That thread was partially sanitized anyway, and for good reason; it got pretty nasty (even by old-school Discoweb standards), but page five is still where his true colors are shown, and why I modified my signature after all these years.

I stopped using his name for a while after that, but then became tired of finding ways to refer to him as "it".

That's stupid. I never heard of ironman 4x4 fridges before this whole mess and now I want one. I have no dealings with luck8 but now I'm just as likely if not more likely to use them in the future. Mostly cause I know my prices won't have to go up because neither of those companies would fold and give up the house.

Dan didn't get banned for calling Frank fat and bald; he got banned because he's been an absolute turd here for years with almost no useful posts.

This is a warning to Frank and everyone else. If you take it to far, you're getting banned, too. I've put a lot of work into fixing this site and I've spent a lot of money hosting it and don't ask for much in return. I've never asked for anyone to be nice and I don't delete threads, but you better keep it civil.
