Well after all that, it's not the blower switch that is bad. Replaced the control unit and still no blower coming on. Any ideas? Resistor unit perhaps or the relay are my current thoughts.

You have to be kidding! Didnt you say that the fan would cut out at times, and if you wiggled the switch it would work again?

It was cutting out at times. Wiggling it never did anything. Looking at the old switch the contacts do appear to be worn. It has always cut out when left on the 4 setting for a long time, so I think that was thet switch perhaps. Now I get nothing from the blower at all. I checked and the switch is getting power. It was pretty low voltage but I figure it's not supposed to get anywhere close to 12. I don't have the electronic troubleshooting manual so I'm somewhat stuck until I have that or another lead.

In case this ever happens to someone else. It wasn't the blower control unit. Rather a $8 Ingnition load relay that can be replaced in 2 minutes.
