Ripped both a motor and Transmount at SCARR and bombed my rear diff, good weekend. Finally getting around to mounts, now. I have heard a Jag mount is a much better alternative to the stock one and are reasonably priced. Anybody have info. for model and part#s?

The ones from a diesel are stout and cheap too and they do fit

Where the fuck did you hear that? The diesel mounts for the 200/300 TDi are completely different from those for the V8. I can't see how they could possibly fit, but I'm gonna go look.

Alright, I'm holding an NTC9416 in my left hand and an ANR 2805 in my right. There is no way on earth that they are directly interchangeable.

I've got aftermarket Rover V8 mounts in stock. (I also have 200/300 TDi mounts as well)

Thanks guys. I need something for the D1. PT how much for a D1 mount?
Anybody familiar with this Jag idea. I think they are the V12 mounts and supposedly pretty stout.

Id go with the QT but I can't afford to drop another $200 right now.

They are V12 motor mounts I want to say for late 70s threw the 80s V12 cars. I had the part # somewhere but I can't find it. Last time I looked rock auto.com had them For like $10 or so for one. Ill keep looking For the part #. Your not apart of the Houston Land Rover Club are you one of the guys there has them In his RRC. He will have the part #, if you get it before I find it let me know.

What year is it? There was a change mid-production and they aren't interchangeable as the studs are either 10 m/m, or 12 m/m. If I send the wrong ones, I'll hear about it!:D

They're about +/-$10/each, I can compete on these:bigok: .

I have both in stock!!!

Ok Chuee the part # I have Is JLM1010 there sapose to be from 1976-1989 XJS. They are $10, I haven't tried them yet but they are sapose to be stronger to handle the torque of the V12.

Hockey pucks work great. I install them all the time. Never seen one fail take the puck and drill a hole in the middle of it.
Take the old mount and remove both metal peaces clean the old rubber
off OF both metal peaces and drill holes in them. Install both metal peaces and the hockey puck on your truck with nuts, bolts and washers.
This is THE cheep way to never brake one again and you wont get vibrations like you get out of solid mounts.

91 xj12 mounts in the front, thats a 91 xj6 left side mount in the back. the xj6 is taller than the rover and xj 12. Diameter is about the same as a rover. XJ12 is much larger diameter, about the same height.

This is for a project car, I run qt mounts.

they are $10.39 from rock auto and they are way stronger then the rover mounts.

I tore mount after mount until I went with these and now I have yet to tear one.

look up a 1977 XJS V12 and click on engine then mounts.

Thanks. Im going to give them a shot. Though I am intrigued by the hockey pucks.

I think in Houston hockey pucks are going to cost more than motor mounts

Oooh that sounds like a nice college budget friendly upgrade.
