I finally got off my butt and spent some time the last few weeks getting quotes for homeowners and auto insurance. I've been with Geico for about 12 years now but felt I could save a little dough. Allstate has been ridiculous for my home insurance so I knew they were gonna get kicked to the curb.

Farmers Insurance gave me great quotes and I'll be saving about $800 a year. So I went today, switched over and kissed the Gecko goodbye. I looked at my new policy number and it's 75309.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought that was hilarious. The agent and I totally cracked up when we saw that.

Trust me, it's much more pleasant to be associated with that song that with that damn Forrest Gump..."Jen-naaaaay, I love you Jen-nayyyyyyy" Ughhhhhhh! :mad:

My friend does a decent Forrest Gump impersonation, and came up with a few good lines. Another friend cut sections of the movie to say the same things, but I can't find it right now. Best two were "I love to do Jen-naaaaay in the butt-oxx" and "Live is like a baux of tampons, there's always strings attached"

I gave my friend that number in an IM with the 602 area code, telling him it was my new cell number.... and he didn't even notice it. I have some dense friends.
