I needed tires this week. No way around it. I've waited. Nothing I want will be in stock anywhere I want to shop any time soon.
I've already had to limit the DII to 1,000 miles and 45mph, so I just fucking bought some. As long as I was buying something that wasn't ideal, I figured I may as well buy something fun and interesting.

I think I'm about to get stuck in mud. A lot.
I'll be unstoppable on dry tarmac, gravel, and sand, though.
It would seem like a stupid purchase, but Sears had them for $169 a piece for some idiot reason, and somehow I ended up in their damnable club a while back. That left me with a bunch of points after buying all those cabinets, plus some "surprise points" (whatever those are) which gave me a nice discount.
So, I won't be so hot in the mud for a while. That's obvious. I should also stay away from ice, and slow a bit more in rainy conditions.
I will have tires tomorrow, though, and that's what matters.
At the very least, they should be wonderful on the road around here during these summer and fall months. They were also cheap, which means later on I can pick up another set that's more suitable for all-terrain and occasional mud use.
I'm certain I'll be able to flip these fancy looking tires to a college kid with a Toyota at a profit when I need to move to something more appropriate.
Cheers,
Kennith
