Anyone seen/fired one of these?

I want a 7.62 and this looks like it fits the bill. Good reviews from what I have read, but I dont know anyone who has one. I love the bull pup configuration too.

Also looking at: FNH SCAR, Springfiled SOCOM II, FNFAL, or even the Colt LE901-16S.

Input is appreciated.

Thanks.

I have a friend that has a .308 Keltec. Just recently it misfired, and blew up and destroyed the firing chamber. He said Kel Tec stood by their product, and replaced the damaged parts.

That doesn't sound like anything I want to have happen with the chamber beside my head.

According to Kel-Tec:

The RFB is also the safest Bullpup ever developed because the breech is separated from the shooters face by two layers of 1.6 mm steel. In the highly unlikely event of a case rupture, gas expansion is directed downwards through the magazine well to protect the shooters head and face.

I actually like it, because being a lefty, it's the first pullpup I would be able to shoot.

Had a similar thing happen to my buddy's M4 when we were on the range overseas. Still have pics somewhere of the aftermath. Didn't cause any damage to him; all the force went through the ejection port and the magazine well. It did render the rifle useless of course.

i've been eyeing one of these for a while, but they seem to be fetching north of $1600 now. same with the KSG, which is double its MSRP.

I got my hands on one the other day. I was shocked when I saw it in person and picked it up. The thing is built far better than you might think. It's a very serious machine, and I'll be having one.

I'd have bought it right then and there, but I just spent too much money on other things.

Cheers,
