Your a/c drain plugs are clogged with dirt. Crawl under the truck. They are located up on either side of the transmission tunnel. You need to squeeze them with your fingers to release the water inside. Be prepared to get a lot of water out of the drains. You should check these every so often to avoid mold.

From below, after you squeeze the nipples, run a piece of weedeater line into the nipple. If there is any old mung in them it too will squirt into your face.

i would do what these guys are saying as fast as possible. i found out the hard way on my 04 why you need to check this often.

i just finished putting the interior back together in mine after the inside was soaking wet from clogged A/C drain lines. I had to pull all 3 pieces of carpet from the back seats forward, the 2 front seats and the console and let the carpet dry out for week.

not something you want to have to deal with, especially when you just bought the vehicle the week before!!!

It takes a lot longer than a week to dry the carpet out. What I did is use newspaper under the carpet and keep changing it every two or three days. It still took 2 weeks to get it dry and that is during Hot Virginia summers.
The carpet under the seat is a bad spot to get to but I could do it by lifting the rear seat carpet and using a broad piece of wood to push the folded newspaper forward under it . That thick foam holds a lot of water.
Good luck

Bill,

i think you misunderstood my process. i completely pulled the carpet out of the vehicle. the carpet in the front is in 3 sections so it comes out rather easy. i then layed each section out in the baking NC sun for a week with a fan on it and completely dried. I didn't mess around with trying to dry it out inside the vehicle.

Wow! That's the serious way to do it. The wife wouldn't let me take it all out and use a lawn chair for a week. Glad you got it done,
Thanks
Bill

My little hose near the gas peddle came loose and that's where mine was leaking.

My carpet was dried after a day parked with open windows...one of the advantages of living in the Middle East.
