My 1996 Disco 300 Tdi has a leaking autobox. The oil leaks from the joint in the bellhousing and if I take away the wading plug there will come a small amount of ATF-oil. I assume there might be a shot seal somewhere and I now wonder if it is possible to do something about it? I am not a beginner in the workshop and I have done some gearbox rebuilds on series III gearboxes but I have never been doing anything to an autobox before. Verdict?
