RRRight! Because they are the only folks who have great ideas. This isn't rocket science. Oh BTW, mine's Aluminum and weighs in at 17lbs, as opposed to the 40+ lbs a steel plate would weight. But you already knew that seeing how you've actually seen mine in person...

Also, this skidplate was created as the result of my own work, measurements and CAD skills. Not a copycat product. I hate copycat products! I designed it because nobody made an AL skidplate that I thought was adequate for the DII.

come on, chapman. how different could you possibly make it look? i guess every set of rectangular tubing sliders out there are a rip off, too. there's not much flexibility in making these things look different and still have it tuck in there nicely.

The X9 is better because it has less moving parts and a stronger, better built, motor. Both the X9 and the EP series use the same Albright solenoids.

I like the non-integrated EP. It has the Albright solenoids and yes, you can remote mount them. But, you can also make it so the winch is interoperable with the integrated solenoids, too.

Aesthetically, that LGI DII rear bumper is far and away my favorite. Got any more detailed pics of it? Or any clue what it might run once you are producing them?

LOL, so wait, if Scorpion copies Equipe's shock mounts or e-brake kit, it's "ok". I mean, you can only design shock mounts an e-brake kit so many ways, right?

But look at Larry's skid. Damn near bend for bend it replicates the RTE skid. They're damn near brothers. The RTE offers a bit more protection on the rear most corners of the tank, but other than that, it's a direct copy.

I know Larry, and I think Larry is (or I hope he is) an honest guy. But I don't know, man, offering this product is a bit over the top. It's one thing to crank out a few for friends, but it's another to offer these replicas as your own.

Once I get the RRC bumper finalized I will then shift focus to the DII rear bumper. We're planning on having the RRC bumper ready for a Columbia Rovers Open House on Jan 24th. I need to build about two more with some minor changes in dimensions including properly covering the quarter panel before we get a good idea on pricing. We're shooting for around $700 though.

I'm guessing February or March for the DII bumper ready to be shipped. Columbia Rovers would like it sooner but I still have a day job...
