Hi Folks ,

I will be installing a 2" RTE Lift on my 04 DiscoII with the Bilstein 7100 Series shocks. I was wondering if any of you know where I can purchase limit straps for the front springs?

Thanks....

im not too sure you are going to need them with the short body 10" in the front. If you check the measurements of the OMEs they are pretty similar and i dont know of anyone running limit straps with OME shocks on a DII.

Hi Nick,

I will be running RTE Springs (RR4-1. RR1-2) with the Slickrock Quick Disconnects. I will also be moving the orginal front sway bar drop arms to the rear. With this setup, I've been told that I could unseat the front springs.

Your front drive shaft is going to bottom on the frame crossmember before you lose a spring.

The kit includes crossmember spacers. Basically, I went with RTE's 3" Lift kit except I'm getting 2" springs. I didn't want to deal with the driveline issues at this time and a new set of tires (Currently have Firestone Dest MT 245/75R16).

Hi Folks,

Are any of you using limit starps on you DiscoII front springs? If so, could you please post some pictures of the installation?

Thanks,
Jay
