Just to give you guys an update. (because i know you love him)

He had called himself RoverBones.

Now he is called Britland Parts & Offroad.

He has also stopped taking paypal and now only accepts credit cards, checks or money orders.

This has been a public service announcement. :victory:

Why did he do this to himself? We all know you can't just survive off of selling LR parts locally..internet had to have been a huge source of income for his business. He definitely shot himself in the foot

He is also planning on revealing his line of bumpers this upcoming week..

This has got to be Bottorf trying to have another laugh. Why is it every retard with a welder thinks they should make their own line of Rover accessories? If his Bonnet Bar and Snorkel are any indication we'll all be in for some laughs. I'm "Liking" the page now so I can keep up with the ridiculousness.

none of your fucking business
I called him out on facebook a while back while he was trying to push parts. I made comments such as "has everyone received their parts that has sent you money?" and "Shouldn't you reimburse those due before you commit to selling to other folks?"

His response via message was this:

"Matthew, I am selling parts. When I was in a wreck and my son was hurt I was out of commission for a couple weeks. The motor that he "never received" sat in the shipping warehouse for two weeks waiting for him to pick it up. After it wasn't picked up, it was shipped back to me. He wanted a full refund, and I wanted to meet somewhere into he middle for the $300+ shipping I was out. A couple other guys packages were also delayed. To my knowledge every part was either delivered or money refunded. When the guy with the motor demanded full refund, I relented and told him I'd get it to him. Before I sent out the refund, he filed a complaint with PayPal, I didn't bother arguing it and they refunded the full amount. I haven't bothered much defending myself on dweb, partly because it's a lost cause and partly because I have been focusing more on my kid than slinging parts. This week is the first week for me back at it full time. I appreciate your question and civil manner as opposed to the name calling and b.s. on the forum."

Not quite how I remember it.

Lincoln never requested that I meet him "somewhere in the middle." The few times I spoke to him on the phone he stated that he would refund my money in full.

The paypal dispute had been filed several weeks before any of this happened, so he can't use that as an excuse for not refunding my money. Paypal did not refund my money. Several weeks after he promised a full refund and still not having any money, I filed a dispute with my bank. They were able to get my money back. I don't know if they have recovered the money from Lincoln or not. For all I know he's still walking around with a grand of VISA's money in his pocket.

so did the motor ever ship?

And this makes me laugh:
" A couple other guys packages were also delayed. To my knowledge every part was either delivered or money refunded."
You don't know for sure? I can hear the phone conversation..

Hmmm, yeah that part is 20 bucks, 10 bucks shipping. Let me know if you don't get it because I don't keep track of shipments, delayed shipments or if I forget to ship. More than likely I'm just gonna take your money and not send it at all...but I do have a Killer light bar/bumper combo

he still owes a friend of mine parts...

I love how he says "To my knowledge everything shipped"! As if someone else would know better what shipped and what didnt.

Visa isn't really known for taking beatings like that. If you got your money back then visa took it from paypal who took it out of his account. I'm guessing that's why he doesn't take paypal anymore, his account is probably negative. Little does he know that they will sue him if he doesn't bring it up to 0 in 6 months.

I have had charge backs but that never happened to me, I use my account to much. It happened to the guy from Tidewater Rovers who used to post on here.
