So my OEM hose clamps on my low pressure line for the power steering arent up to the job any more. Im pissing fluid thanks to their failure.

Is it worth replacing them with a worm screw type clamp? Should i go ahead and replace the hose too?

Its for the D1.

Thanks

I just wanna know if the GM fittings will work off that hose kit. I dont need it yet, but if it is a good kit to keep in the tool box, ya know?

replace the hose, it will make you feel better. mines come to that time too but its low on the priority list. that kit looks like something dan would want you to buy, some regular good oil hose will do fine for anything with hose clamps

I bought some good oil resistant hose at Napa, red hose if I recall... and some good clamps. I haven't had a leak out of the power steering in 7 years.... hmmm can't say the same about much else, but the mud does help keep it from leaking everywhere else.
