New parts for my XJS are popping up all the time now, even if some are aftermarket.

Some is better than none, in the end.

I heard Land Rover is actually buying freelanders back now. For Like 1500.

Yes that's true . I hear a lot of dealers are starting to not take in vehicles older than 10 yrs old . Like mentioned earlier in this thread most guys in dealers right now have very little experience with the older models . Parts availability makes for a lot of wasted time also . If you spend 2 hrs of diag time and then can't get the part how do you in good faith ask that customer to pay for that time . My boss will not let me sell them my used parts , understandably .
