I was at the car show last weekend and I asked, and they really couldnt tell me anything, all they said is that customers would be able to accessorize their LR3s and RRSs with G4 accessories, but no word on the G4 model

My guess is that since no part of the 2006 Land Rover G4 Challenge will be held in the US and the US can't send participants, then we unfortunatley won't be seeing any G4 LR3s anytime soon here in the US. I hope I'm wrong cause I'd love to see a Tangiers Orange LR3!

The question should be: How long after the G4 competion was over before them came out? 6-mos. to a year?

The G4 Challenge ended in April of 2003 and my G4 landed at the dealer in Sept. of 2003, I bought it in Dec. of 2004 as a retired service loaner. That might be another reason you won't see a G4 LR3 - the special editions don't seem to sell well (not in TN anyway).

I think I read in this months LRO that LR have hinted that the G4's will be available in 2006.

True the rare Rovers tend to stay out of TN, my mom has one out of two i believe 2004 BLACK RR Westminister editions in Nashville. I almost bought Jhobbs car and my mom used it as a loaner for a while the RR was in the shop. Which was a great car and i liked the way it was outfitted. But the chances of a rare G4 LR3 in TN would be very slim, but i would like the accesories.

I hope they come out with them...

...although I am kicking myself for not buying the 2004 G4 service loaner. damn, damn, damn. Love that Tangiers Orange.

If they can't sell an orange disco in TN then they wont sell anywhere else. :)

I checked out AB and they don't have the rear access ladder from what i can see. I Bet the dealership here in nashville would have one but the tend to overcharge on installation and accesories. for example i wanted to have some hella 4000's installed on my roof rack but $500 to install them. Also would it be a direct just plug in and bolt on if i replace my current LR lamps on my brush bar with hella 4000's.

I really want to replace them but rewiring the front could be expensive. I know where all of the hook-ups are in the grill and the light mounts are. but if i do install the 4000's will the lamp burn out if the stock set-up can't handle the 4k's, And which beam pattern is better, the euro beam or fog pattern.
