I'm a disco owner, but thought you LR3 owners might get a kick out of the LR3 the local dealership did. I thought it was pretty cool.

Asking price is $65k...i think i'll let it stay where it's at. I think they said that they were going to put it in the auto trader as well.

It's not even an HSE. No NAV. No beer cooler. No rear HEVAC. 5-seater. $20K for zebra stripes and some bolt-ons?

Were the stripes stick on?

BT seen that

Wheels could have been done better, in Matt Black. Surprised dealer when cheap with only one pair of roof lights and no hood black out. While on those lights, would rectangular lights work better blingwise?

i personally like the all black one better. On the zebra, the stripes are stickers and i like the all black wheels better myself. Although they said they are not finished with it, ordered front skid, and trying to figure up something for the gas tank skid etc.. Asking price before additions was $54k...where the hell did $11k in additions come from?????

I like the ladder on the zebra one, and the rims and tires on the black one. but those snorkels are just kindof different. I'm waiting for safari to make one

I'm waiting for Mantec to make one. Not that I'm ever going to drive an LR3 (not a money issue or anything - personal pact to not buy any LR that's made today - P38 and D2a is my cutoff). But I've personally never been that fond of the big thing that goes down the side of the Safari...

But at least Brownchurch makes a rack now for the D3...saw it on their site the other day. http://www.brownchurch.co.uk/91racksystem.html . A little more elegant than the genuine solution to me. And ARB makes a winch bar, which gets rid of the sort of awkward genuine winch/A-bar/light guard thing.

Pull some of the plastic trim off the truck, and you've got yourself a de-PVCd D3!
