Ive removed my ACE pump and the sway bars. disconnected the plugs at the valve body, disconnected (what I think is) the ACE slabs.. The amber dash light is still on!:banghead:

disable it via t4.
I didn't think you could, or at least I couldn't find a way to do it. Have you successfully done this?
Fuse 15 feeds the ACE ECU, if you pull that fuse, you should lose the light. Have you taken out the right ECU?

Pulled the fuse. Light is still on
Yes I pulled the BIG connector and the fuse, Still have the light. How hard is it to pull the dash pod off? Looks like just a couple screws.
im pretty sure it is in BECM configuration. but it has been forever since i used T4 or worked on a d2 that isnt my own or my moms...
I'm pretty sure you would have to replace the BCU to get the light out. I don't think T4 can change the configuration file. You may be able to do it with an Autologic, but I don't think T4 can.
you need to have the correct c/d and the computer at the dealership. The t-4 did not have the correct settings for my 03. we used an 04 c/d to tell the truck that it did not have ACE.
