Mantec Pics Please

I am attempting a "quality" home built snorkel and was wondering if I could get pics of how a mantec mounts to the A-pillar and the inner fender.

The snorkel mounts to the gutter at the corner of the roof with one bolt. Like in this picture you can see the bolt on the bottom of the gutter.

I dont have any pictured but it is bolted with two self tapping bolts to the inner fender. It is pretty simple.

Google Mantec and check out the UK websites. Lots of pictures of these out there. You can buy all the parts to do it seperately. I figure the most difficult would be how the tube goes through the fender.

you think you can buy just the top? the whole setup looks like it wouldn't be to difficult to make if you were just careful with your measurements and had the right tools, which i do. i'm thinking i'll do this later on this year.

Here is where I got my top. It is the 2.5" breather cap, UF30932 is the part number. Got it in the mail yesterday.

I would think either one would be pleeeeeeeeeeeenty tough enough if not more so.

Seems like you could put one together that would look and perform every bit as good as a $400 piece of pipe or plastic from Safari or Mantec.

just to add...the mantec tubing is 2.75" OD not 2.5"
