If it's late and Dan says, "Wanna go on night ops?", think about it a minute.
If he says, "I'm not sure where this goes.", think a little harder.
Then if he says, "I think this is an atv trail.", fold in your mirrors.
Then, to top it off, if he says, "This looks interesting.", believe him.

atleast you did not have to stumble around in the rain looking for a new route, btw did you ever get your flash light back?:D

night ops always offer quality entertainment thats fo-sho:cool:

So we didn't really miss anything?

I can drive through the woods or animal crap (or both!) any day of the week...

Edit: We did miss seeing all the trucks and some of the owners!

none of your fucking business
I never noticed the dog getting hit before. I can't believe he didn't even slow down for that.

However, the dog shouldn't have been on the trail. If you can't control your dog at all times, leave them at home. That's what I do.

No way he could've seen the dog on that section.
I think the dog was barely bumped...he was fine.
Luckily.

right back to my post on page 3.... there are way too many f'ing dogs running around at MAR. Thank god that dog was OK, but that's still too close for comfort... if that dog got hit and killed, one person to blame-the owner who didn't keep them on a leash or in their truck. With so many trucks driving around, with slippery mud, it's crazy how many owners put their dogs lives at risks... constantly there were dogs running around all over the place.

No one has a bad dog. It's always someone else dog who acts up or does not listen. I learned this a long time ago. That's why I leave my dog at home where there is a larger crowd involved.

I did take my dog camping at the Cove. Small group, less vehicles, not as much loose trash to dig in, and she's a female that does not lift her leg to piss on tents. But I will probably never bring her back. She did fine, but I can't stand a dog that begs for food, and my dog is always very interested in what you're eating. Big pet peeve of mine.

No way in hell I'd ever consider bringing my dog to MAR.

Funny you should say this at MAR this year I saw a dog walk up lift his leg and piss on my neighbors cooler. Not 10 seconds later I saw the owner walk by. He made no attempt to clean it up or even bother to pay attention to it.

Most of the time IMO it's the owners fault for being an inconsiderate jerk and not caring what their dogs do. Neither of his two yellow labs were on a leash either.
