Now when I said "full", I must have been mistaken, cause you seem to have a big mouth and with all of the hostility Dan has, I am sure he's just struggling with the fears of taking his pants off with the lights on.

Now what is funny is that it took you 7 minutes to come up with that. I can just picture you, sitting there on your cinderblock, inside your shanty deep in the Canadian woods, trying to think of something witty to say. Im not going to dignify your weakened response with more insult. I think you took care of that for me. Thanks.

So you like bumpers that...Don't work with airbags.
Please explain "don't work with airbags."
Unless they've changed it in LR3's, the bumper has pretty nothing to do with the SRS system.

A breath of fresh..............air?

I haven't been on this board for a while but upon returning all I can say is that I have a renewed respect for the immense linguistic capabilities of some of the people of VA. Really though, It isn't fair to challenge people like that. It is just mean. You have to just humour them. Like I do my 90 year old granny with dementia. Don't challenge their conventional wisdom it will only confuse them and it makes the rest of us no better off. I hope D Chapman will continue to entertain us with his down-home musings and real-man observations on things. Git er done Chapman!

Are you French?

Did I post in French? I am LR3invancouver. Is Vancouver in Quebec or in France? Sorry, that is an unfair question as it requires knowledge of the world outside of VA. No. I am not French. Are you inbred? Sorry again. That means "Is yo momma and yo papa related by blood?"

Actually I am sure that Louisiana AND Quebec are both closer to VA than to Vancouver. So you, sir, are more likely to have had some French in you! I have seen Deliverance, you know. Can you squeal like a pig? I am of nearly pure Swedish ancestry. If you have any red hair in your family my ancestors may have "visited" your women-folk at some point in the past.

While we're clarifying providences in Canada... Alberta isn't in Quebec either... Red Deer, Alberta where Nathan is from is north of Calgary... famous rodeo town... the CDN Rockys... plus Edmonton has the largest mall in NA... larger than the Mall of America in Minneapolis... good place to dump the wife while you go ice fishing - cold as fuck up there.... now Vancouver is more mild, with Pacific near by keeps the temps less brutal in winter... just to the north is my favorite ski resort, Whistler/Blackcomb. As for Quebec... Montreal... only thing I've found I like is the strip clubs.

I think what many newbies to the game don't realize is just because ARB makes the Air Locker doesn't mean that all of the other products that they make are the shit...Am I right? So I am curious what bumper combo do you have on your D2?

I had a SafariGard-JUNK! STay away from them. Poor welding. Terrible penetration. I ended up getting a new one from RTE. Very good. I should have went to them for my front, rear bumpers and sliders originally. Now I have a rear SafariGard bumper that I have completely reworked. I boxed it in. Re-did the frame mounts and added a swing away tire carrier and rear Warn Rock Crawler winch. Departure angle has diminished a bit, but over all, the pros outweighed the cons.

Go RTE for sure. You will be happier. The ARB sucks for real world use. I watched my buddy bend his like a pop can while getting recovered.

When I was researching bumpers, I was told the SG was the best. Bad information. GO RTE.

I didn't do the welding myself. I had a local Fab shop that has been building rock crawler buggies do the work for me. The tire carrier holds 3 jerry cans between the back window and the tire. It is more function friendly that stylish. I decided to give up some departure angle in favour of a safe place to store my gas and spare tire. It bolts on to the bumper. I wanted to be able to take the hold thing off easily in case I ever needed to.

I used to have the jerry cans up on the roof rack, which I definitely don't recommend. Too much weight up to high. I brought them down lower and I am quite happy with the set up.

Email me for pictures. I am not sure how to post them on here.

Guys you shouldn't be so rough on us teens. Who is going to carry on the tradition and knowledge.

Then again it probably won't matter since Tata will ruin LR.
