Well last night we picked up this 05' LR3 SE V8 with the HD package, Trail package (?), and tech package.

So now with the locking rear end, we figured we should do this one up like my Disco 2. ARB bullbumper, snorkel, winch, and roof rack. Today we are getting the larger A/T tires put on and it detailed up.

Where have you guys hard mounted a CB in this truck, I can't find a good spot.

WRX 75, same unit I put into my D2. Comes from Wal-Mart I will check out the under the seat thing in the morning. I figured on doing a clip mount under the rear tail light to hold the areal.

DCHAPMAN - I was going to stay out of this, but I can't sit by and watch you ruin this for a young man and others who may be watching. As for Doctor Leo, he spent his his 14th and 15th years living in a camper trailer and partially constructed home with his family while rebuilding it after Hurricane Ivan destroyed it. Not watching it being rebuilt (like it appears you do your wheeling), but rebuilding it with me. We installed the fireplace mantle this Christmas and that was the last remaining thing to be done. Now he can go back to being a teenager for a year or two before he has to "grow up." The young man earned his Disco. He earns his own modification money and does most of his own work and uses these forums to get information and advice.

As for research, he can probably tell you more about RTE, TJM, and ARB products than you'll ever know with your simple view of the world. I personally really like the RTE bumpers, but they are not for every application. I have asked Steve about doing an LR3 bumper for me.
