Stoopid NFL and FOX decided we couldn't watch any games besides the Cards game. I had to go do stuff before the end. Last I saw they were up 10-0.

love this quote:
Some Cardinals literally skipped off field at being 7-3 for the first time since 1977...

Lets talk pathetic. Miami last season.

Buffalo hasnt played yet this week. Wait till the week is over to pass judgement. How will you feel when Miami finishes last in the Division, again?

how does that happen? i dont know if i ever even remember a tie occurring? how does that work statistically? just a .5?

Win column counts first, if someone has more wins than you at the end of the season they are ahead of you. If you are tied in the win column and have a tie then you are statistically ahead. The last tie i remember was probably 8 years ago with the steelers and I dont remember who else.

Ok, I have my wifes family in town so I have been hunkered down with good sour mash whiskey and football most of the afternoon so I am emboldened to let you all know exactly how the end of the season is going to look.

First, the Titan's and Giant's are the class of the league. Both won impressively today against solid opponents. Both of these teams will have to slip up or have more than one key player go down to not make the super bowl. This, of course, can happen. Just ask Indy or the Pats.

The other teams with real a chance of winning it all are the Steelers, Jets and Cardinals. They all have weak spots but have a solid enough team that they can't be counted out in any game they are in. One could making a case for adding the Cowboys and Colts to that list on the fact their rosters are so loaded that if they get hot they could be dangerous but i can't see it happening for either of them.

The rest of you are done. You can argue that the last couple years that the last team to qualify for the playoffs has won but thats piss poor logic to hang your dreams on. Think I am wrong? I will give you 5-1 that any team you can name that I haven't talked about won't even be in the super bowl, much less win. I will even toss the Cowboys and Colts in there as I can't see either of them making a run.

So there you have it, Titans win the super bowl 31-28 over the Giants and the rest of you will be crying in your beer.

WTF was up with that call at the end of the Steelers/Chargers game?! Polamalu got robbed. It was at the end of the game so I don't see why they can't change the score back to 17-10.

Some questionable calls all through the game but I'll take the W. I hope the the NFL fines officials as liberally as players.
