:banghead: replaced my fuel pump and realized i has no power going to it. i checked the fuses, relays, and inertia switch and all looks good open to suggestions. thanks
would the crankposition sensor keep the fuel pump from comming on i feel like i have checked everything else and i am running out of ideas. thanks guys
I Have Been So Tied Up Trying To Get Power To The Fuel Pump That I Havent Looked. Didnt Hit Me That The 2 Could Be Linked Until I Found A Thread On The Net About The Ckp. I Didnt Know That If The Sensor Went Out The Fuel Pump Wouldnt Run. The Thread Said That If It Was Out The Ecu Wouldnt Send Power To The Fuel Pump. But Isnt That More When It Is Cranking Rather Than Priming? The Ecu Doesnt Really See The Crank Sensor Until The Motor Is In Motion Rite? Thanks
Yeah, I Know Im Hard Headed. Just Didnt Understand That It Had Anything To Do With The Pump Getting Power. And Now That I Think About It It Was Harder To Crank Up That Morn And That Is Consistant With It Going Out. Ima Check For Spark When I Get Back Home Tommarrow And Go From There. Ill Post With Results. Thanks Guys
well guys i made it back in town and checked for spark and there is none so im going to change out the ckp hope thats what it is wish me luck!!!!!!!!! mongo does this sound like the symtoms you had when the ecu went? thanks as always
