I have a 99 D2, I just completed a cylinder head rebuild and I replaced the spark plug wires with Magnecor 8mm's (in the right order and seated properly). Now I am not getting a spark to certain odd AND even cylinders. Do I just need a new coil pack? Or could this be a bigger problem involving the engine?

There are two connectors to the coil pack, one on each side of the engine. These engines work on a wasted spark configuration, ie, the 1&6 cylinder fire at the same time, 8 & 5, 4 & 7,3 &2. Hence if you have no spark to 1 & 6, it could be coil pack connections.
Also, as space behind this engine is tight, it is possible that you may have mixed up a coupla pug wires.
