I don't think they did in any NAS D1 year, to get non ABS I think you need early import years of RRC (88-89, maybe later too, not as sure on that).

You need a D90 Tee fitting and a little replumbing around the ABS modulator.

I've done this on two trucks and it's easy and works well.

Couple of notes on it though. The part number listed for the T's is actually NRC4251. The one I got from Rovahfarm worked for me. But I have read about the T's failing, and they are kind of flimsy so I can see that.

I'm getting ready to do this again on another truck. So this time I decided to go with one of these http://www.amazon.com/METRIC-BUBBLE-dune-buggy-baja/dp/B003LITBNU for my next project. It's a bit more expense but who doesn't like a bit of blink in their project. One other change I'm making is I plan to split the rear brake line at the rear diff and only have one line running to the rear. Similar to how the D90's and non-abs trucks work.

That's probably a good idea. Can't be any worse than the stock system, right!?

Thanks for all the info! I plan on removing all my ABS stuff when I did my axle swap. But I like to research it all when its been done before.

Looks like I maybe getting super duty axles, so it might be a bit of time before I get them narrowed and get the front the correct drop. I was looking at my new booster and master from my Chevy I am parting now to see if it may work. So I don't know what direction I am going yet.

What are you trying to achieve? Removing the ABS from a NAS D1 is pretty easy.

I'm swapping my Defender drums to discs. The guide I'm using calls for non-abs hubs. I was seeing if any D1 hubs would work. I found a set of non-abs RRC hubs locally so I'm good. Thanks all!
