Kennith, if you're into trainwrecks it's great.

Whats up with dude from GB4x4radios / Roverville?

I was thinking about an aux connection... dammit.

He advertised a flat-rate repair.

I sent a radio and a check for the flat-rate repair.

Months later, he said he couldn't fix it and it would cost $50 to pack up and return.

I sent him $179 (his flat-rate) and a Defender Radio. I have neither.

He called me a while back and told me that if I took down all internet postings about him, he'd return the bits and pieces of the radio.

Fat lot of good it will do me. The client had already gotten pissed at me, had me put an aftermarket radio in his Defender and has since died.

I'm still out $179 and have been told that I will never see the radio unless I submit to extortion.

Caveat Emptor.

All I got from that is there may be a Defender with a sweet new radio for sale...

i sold him a NAV unit from a D2. took him just about a month to pay me for it. but to be far he was out of town....

I don't like him, but I can't remember why. I think it had something to do with him, Dan and a D2 aux input???

Great, Frank, way to go. Thanks for killing off another innovative American small business. Dicks like you are crushing entrepreneurship and holding back our economic recovery. If this dude's heavy duty drive shaft upgrade company had survived it would have doubtlessly created 8,000 new jobs for skilled labor, engineers, freight carriers, and call center customer service representatives. Not to mention all the spillover business for Tom Woods, Tillery, and the steel recyclers when all these HD drive shafts fail. You just wiped 0.04% growth off the GDP for 2014. I hope you feel like you accomplished something. Might as well change your name to Frank Jong Il.

Because no North Korean dictator would be caught dead in public wearing shorts and flip flops.

No, just his moderator status was removed, supposedly for not doing any moderator jobs. Which is strange since I PM'd him not long ago and asked him to make one of my posts a sticky and he did it in short order.

Mike and I did not get along, I did not follow him blindly like a sheep and I repeatedly told people to do things opposite of what Mike said, I think thats the real reason I got my status pulled.
Although I will never know for sure since he never gave me any notice.

I suppose it could have been me not being right ontop of things, I mean, screw my full time job right?
Working 6 days a week 10 hours a day for 6 weeks straight and then spending time with my wife and kids instead of deleting spam on the forum.
He sits in his apt. in Denver all day and night telling people to call him instead of posting actual helpful info so I guess he is pretty busy and need's more help than I could offer.

Either way he should have sacked up and stood by his decision to make Silver a moderator.
