First of all, bullshit on your reference to the "blue states" - the greatest amount of financial fraud - and highest per capita number of foreclosures right now - is Florida....Sure California has more as in numbers, but not in percentages.

Have you ever been to Florida?

Have the homes are vacation homes owned by people in the NE (read: blue states). The other half are retirees from the NE. I visit my in-laws down there and it's like half of NJ/Long Island moved down.

And it's been somewhat in doubt as to if FL is a red or blue state (See: 2000 Election).

. . .

They are called snowbirds. Add Connecticut snowbirds to the mix.

There is a reason Florida has gone from Red to Blue - the impact of baby boomers on demographics.

I've already said that Obama can't raise tax rates high enough on the 'rich' to pay for his programs. The only way to raise tax revenue is to tax the majority of Americans, the middle class.

Recently he has been saying that his policies will reduce taxes for 95% of Americans.

95%? Mmmm . . . The 5% will pay for his $1.5T in additional spending? Well the old rule applies - if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

The reality -

From Obama’s Trickle-Up Economics

. . . Before believing Obama’s campaign ads promising you how he and the Democrat-controlled Congress only want to tax the rich, remember that earlier this year Democrats — including Obama and Biden — were pushing a budget proposal that would have increased taxes for individuals making $31,850 and couples making $63,700 — hardly the rich. . . .

You now have some hard numbers for Obama's definition of "Rich".

Feel rich? Obama says you are and needs to raise your taxes because . . . . it's Patriotic!

I liken Obama to the Pied Piper. He's playing a tune that's sweet music but only the ignorant and innocent are falling for it and all of us will pay for it.

Someone please explain Obama's tax cut to me. According to here,

http://www.atr.org/content/pdf/2008/August/081408ot-federalincometaxandwhattheypay.pdf

The Congressional Budget Office shows the bottom 40% of wage earners actually paid -3.8% of taxes paid, so in essence they paid no taxes, but instead made money from the government. This leaves 60% of Americans who actually paid money into the system.

Now my question is this, if only 60% pay taxes, how are you going to give a tax cut to 95% of Americans?

Welfare for those that don't pay taxes and tax increases for the middle class. As the article points out the rich just work less.

That was one person's assumption. As a "5%er", I'm just going to keep working hard or else all those people below me go down with the ship. There is your trickle down economics that Dems don't get. If I go down, 50 people go down with me.

Obama Closes Offices in 4 States... McCain Opens 50 in California!
Gateway Pundit ^ | September 22, 2008 | Gateway Pundit

Well, so much for that 50 state strategy. The Obama camp surrendered 4 states to McCain-Palin today.

And, you know what that means? It's time to play the racism card!

Andrew Malcolm at the Top of the Ticket ties this decision by the Obama Campaign to close election offices in North Dakota, Alaska, Idaho and Georgia to a poll on Democratic racism that was released this weekend: . . . .

Obama says your a racist if you don't vote for him . . . . . really?

That still leaves offices in 53 states . . . . .

There are rumors of also Obama pulling out of other states. Maybe the ones that are bitter and cling to guns and religion?

Edit add: You have got to be kidding me:

So much for Obama's 50-state campaign
LA Times

The Associated Press reported this evening and an Obama spokeswoman confirmed that the Chicago-based campaign is pulling its 50-some staffers out of the heavily Republican state full of embittered small towns . . .

I've said that before, and I still agree with it. It is a fact that most people aren't the brightest bulbs in the single pack to begin with, and there several other massive factors that cause a significant portion of them to be swayed easily into the hands of not only liars, but the same liars guilty of absolutely everything they accuse the other liars of.

A huge factor is the internet. Anyone with a computer and 10 bucks a month can now have an opinion posted up for everyone to read. I've seen more links to blogs that said some guy said that some other guy said that some other guy said something than I can shake a stick at. Somewhere along the line, this becomes an acceptable reference, and people believe this stuff, just as they believe God made a cloud look PRECISELY like a Teddy Bear, that some polar bear really does have a pet monkey, glaciers can come in all the colors of the rainbow... at once, and that someone really did paint Charlie Chaplin on a cat's asshole.

The "media" is another big factor. Every channel with a candidate chosen and promoted. It doesn't matter who you watch, America, they are all biased, and they are all liars. Call it spin, if you want, but a good portion of what most people believe to be true nowadays is actually completely false. As a matter of fact, it is false for some of the same reasons you hope it is true. It was designed this way, and that's why you can't see it. All the information you receive from the television was fed to you by someone who works for someone who employs people like him, and these people believe one thing, and want you to believe it as well.

Republicans are stupid, Democrats are stupid. The fact is, most people on earth are flat out stupid as hell, and it's too late to fix it.

There is a simple formula that has been used throughout history to control people, and it is so clear and obvious, that people have never, on the whole, been able to see it working. It's no conspiracy, there is no one person up there orchestrating some evil plan, it is simply how things work.

Cheers,

Kennith

Is Biden running against Obama? Obama against Biden?

Then there is this -

"When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the princes of greed," Biden told Couric. "He said, 'Look, here's what happened.'"

:smilelol: What's the issue here?

Jeeeeeeesus. These two are a match made in hell. Do they even talk to each other? What a horrible combination these two are, seriously. It's fucking scary.

LOL....you can see poor Joe realizing that he better backtrack as soon as he said it was terrible and he knew about it, it wouldn't have happened.

Here's another good one showing the Obama/Biden lack of unity:

Matt Lauer had Obama on, and ole Barry told him how McCain didn't have a good grasp of the situation when he said we shouldn't bail out AIG. Matt said to him (and I'm still shocked BHO didn't get a pass on this) that 3 minutes after that comment by McCain, Joe "Jumpin' off the Reservation" Biden said the exact same thing. Matt asked him to comment and he couldn't really answer as to why they weren't on the same page.

Reminds me of the post after post as to what Obama's credentials are and we either get some entirely unrelated psychobabble or crickets.

Good grief I have to admit Ole Joe is a dandy! I think the Dems would do well to adopt a "Sarah" policy...HIDE FROM THE PRESS, under no circumstances should he be made to answer questions. Don't hit the trail without B.O. looking over his shoulder at all times. Stay FAR away from any disenting groups or locales. That way he would avoid saying ANYTHING that could be fodder for the opposition...BRILLIANT!

Well I think Palin is ignoring the press because why talk to liberals who will twist the message. Just speak to people directly. Biden on the other hand seems to want off the ticket.

Is this the "Change" Obama has been planning? Two agendas?
