So what are your favorites?

I mean stuff like Lancia, Porsche 928, AMC Javelins etc...

No Gremlins or Pacers please:eek:

My vote is Lancia Stratos.

I think I just need to quit watching Top Gear

so you respect the javelin but can't see the beauty in a gremlin x or pacer x? With the right mods they are wheelie machines

Lately I've been fascinated by the Austin Gipsy. Looks like its hard to find one thats not completely rusted away.

Yes! My sister had a orange Gremlin and we all hated it.

Funny you mention a Gipsy. My wife and I saw two of them in a field rusting away on a road trip a couple years ago.

Ballah - love that Valkyrie Rune - what a gorgeous bike.

PM - how appropriate is it that when you click on the thumbnail on the page you linked, the requested page cannot be found? :p

I guess in process of moving the page from a server to a server to another server the picture got lost. But I'm not the only one with this experience:

I have to add that mine was modified for a person missing some limbs - so throttle was on two paddles on the steering wheel (it's a stick shift!), brake was actuated by a huge-ass lever (that I've done away after the first ride home), and the only pedal worked the clutch. That was really something. I had no problems driving a right-hand drive stick shift afterwards.

bug-eye Sprite, original fiat 500, BMW isetta, VW Fridolin

I ran across a bug-eye Sprite in a junkyard during my quest to find a Willys. There were also two Volvo 1800ES's that I hadn't seen before. I think I still of some pics of a bunch of stuff from there somewhere...

Remember these?

Daimler SP250 'Dart'

"...The original A-spec version could do 120 mph, but the chassis, a “14-gauge ladder frame with cruciform bracing”, flexed so much that doors came open, marring its reputation....."
