Does anyone know if this bolt has a washer? If so part number of bolt and washer?

Illustration appears to show a plug and sealing washer or o-ring. May be same size as OP switch? What vehicle?

It should just be an O-ring. The old one could still be stuck in the front cover.

definitely an o-ring. like jimmyjamz said, stick a pick in there and see if you can fish out the old one since it may be stuck in there (or gone). just find one that fits the line and you should be good to go.
