Hey folks! I came out to find the catalytic converter was cut off and in the process they nicked an oil line which flooded the streets.
It's an '02 Discovery 2
Here are some images. I'm trying to identify the line that was cut.
Due to finances I am going to attempt to repair the line by placing a larger tube over and clamping it down.
Should I be using a liquid gasket? If so which?

Thanks, any advice is welcome

Those are transmission cooler lines. Do not try to repair the cut, replace them. You can purchase those second hand, member "will tillery" probably has them. After replacing make sure you check the transmission fluid level, you will normally lose around a quart when swapping cooler lines. The ZF trans takes dexron III. Your O2 sensor looks damaged as well.

Thanks jp! Working on the side of a busy street because I don't own land anymore. So I did the patch as a temporary measure to save the cost of a tow. It seems to be holding for now. I couldn't get a good angle to fill the transmission so a shop will have to do that. I appreciate the info you provided. It'll help me out after I limp it to a muffler shop.

You can run rubber hose on a trans cooler line. It’s like 5 psi. If you wanna be fancy, use two hose clamps on each end or flare the tube a little bit and it’s pretty much a full restoration.
