I am still unclear as to what the maximum lift I can have with the OME 107c up front on a Disco II before topping or bottoming out...I have 2 inch brackets that I can use as well. (I am currently using for my stock shocks) what about the 108c in the back? Thanks in advance!

Why? Because they are not Fox or the 7100's?
I was kinda hoping for fact not oppinion... If someone out there has the experience with these shocks please let me know, thanks.

no because stock shocks are junk.

they:

wear out
limit travel
subject the shock mounts to undue stress off-road
are underdampened for a now higher center of gravity

so as Dan said toss them in the trash and get some real shocks if you want to do things right.

OME's are great shocks, I don't know why some guys here have a stick up their ass about them. Sorry, I don't know much about the length issues you wanted to know about, but they are a good shock, and don't co$t like the Blingenstiens do.

FYI the 107c and 108c are intended for a 2" lift maybe a 3" according to John from Expedition Exchange. I am going to use my 2" brackets to be on the safe side since I am at 4"

Toss those shocks in the trash. Then, buy the N107 and N108's. the 107c and 108c's are going to disappoint you. May as well buy Procomps.

I'm running the RTE 2" and the OME nitrochargers and I don't necessarily have any bad opinion of them.. I know they are only slightly longer than stock, and do limit suspension drop.. they keep you within the limits of needing new ABS and brake lines and putting in the front crossmember spacer..

I don't hear or feel them top out, or clunk at full extension ..

as for putting them on a 3" inch lift, I'd have to say no..

Dan, do you mean the brackets are going to break? or the shocks?

I am using 1/4" thick 2" square tubing cut 3/4" wide. One on each side of the shock. I made some out of 1/8" and they bent a little with my stock shocks.

Even the "N" will break. It's just not the right shock for the application.

They both carry an 'N' designate i.e. N107 or the N107c. The N107c being the "comfort" shock, which means it has a lower damping rate than the N107. Probably not a good choice for a Disco. Go with the N107. They will be fine for a ~3" lift for sure. I run a ~5" lift and they still have about 2+"s of droop to work with. Not ideal but still very functional and they ride great. They NEVER top out on the road at high speed (were the most damage can be done to them). Off road, the shocks limit travel with the sways removed, and that's any shock unless you have limiting straps.

Summary, you'll be fine with N107s.
