I am thinking about performing some plastic surgery on my bumper to get a better approach angle. I know people have talked about doing this before, anyone have any pics or advice they can share? I am considering cutting the fog light areas only because of the radiator, unless theres a skid plate I can buy to cover it up.....

Thats A Nice Looking Truck What Kind Of Lift Is In It? And What Size Tires? Why Is The Offset So Wide On The Rims?

Any Way It Looks Mean!

OME Lift, about 5.5 inches above normal ride height and stock tires. 275/65/16 tires on there. I pull a boat with it so I wanted a little more stability, thats why they are offset, only stick out about 1 inch on each side.

Some of you may be interested.....I am cutting my front bumper and I will be making a custom skid plate.... I might be able to work out something where I can get some extras made if anyone likes the look of it. I will post pics soon!

cant wait to see how it turnes out.
I was thinking about cutting into my bumper as well. not as much as you guys but enough to fit a winch in nicely.

Are you going to install the OEM winch setup? I heard that it hangs down too low and you might as well be lowering your truck after installing it.

PS - I ended up cutting the entire bottom half of the bumper off

Nope, Im just making it up as I go. All I would need is a small but strong winch, garage with pleanty of tools and stuff (which I do), and somehow fabricate and attatch a mounting plate to the frame. I'll draw a sketch of what I mean tomarow or something.

Well here it is.....Chopped entire bottom half of the bumper off and custom made aluminum skid plate, what do you guys think?
I bought an OEM brush guard really cheap, so I am thinking of installing the A-Frame only and mounting a couple more lights out front, since I lost my fogs lights.
