I am in a bit of need of some assistance please. I need to know what the name of the part that the idler pulley mounts to, is called, and its part number. Does this just mount to one side or does it go clear around the front of the motor?

Idler pulley or tensioner?

The idler pulleys bolt to the ancillary brackets. The tensioner pulley bolts to the tensioner.

sorry running back and forth today I am speaking about the bracket that both the Alt,idler and tensioner bolt to on a 2001 disco 2. mine is cracked where the tensioner bolts on allowing it to be on an out of line.

Is it a regular failure for it to crack around the threads where the tensioner bolts. I don't think so but someone out there may know different.

Wow, it's relatively inexpensive new.

I'm sure Will or Marty have a used one for less.
