Pass side low and high beam

Cheers to all, and this may have been beaten to death, my pass side bulb is fine but it fails once and again. Fails = lights up in half the brightness needed, kind of yellowish, both lows and brights. I sprayed some contact cleaner spray into the socket, but it did not give a fix. If I tap on the socket it eventually works, but i hate to do that every time i have to use my lows or highs! What do i do?

well, spraying some convincing amounts of PB Blaster seemed to have fixed the issue of dimming pass. side low and high beams. I suspect a low ground due to corrosion in the socket on the bulb as it sees plenty of water and even more that of heat. Time will tell. Factory wires are way tooo short to snatch out the old socket and put a new one on, a complete removal of the headlight is needed, and my patience is too short for that.

Go to Autozone and buy a replacement socket. I experienced the same type of problems. Changed the socket. No more problems.
