Passenger side window has trouble going up

I can roll the window down no problem, but it is slow and often says "window blocked" before giving up and coming back down. I can get the window closed by holding the switch, but it sounds like the window is meeting a lot of friction when trying to go back up. Any thoughts on this? How hard is it to open the door up to take a look at this in action?

so you have. . . a P38? sounds like your regulator AND motor. are you sure you have a good battery? an hour to change all that - 2-3 if you never have before with some kicking and screaming.

Try a good dose of silicon spray in the window guides. Worked for me on my Classic.

stripped gears on motor/regulator.

you will need to replace it...before it strips out and will not go up at all...i should have a few here.

check the rubber strip on the front vertical, mine slipped upwards and was jamming, exact same as you experienced.

didn't find it till the regulator started popping...will, I'll probably be calling next week
