Man, that's sick...way too much fun...

The first picture looks like the loneliest game of "capture the flag" ever.

Thanks for posting these- I'm gonna go drive around the elementary school sandbox and pretend I'm somewhere else.

well, nothing much Paul...was driving with the flag fully raised and then got called on the FRS by a buddy that the Falcon was right behind me and seemed to be praying on the flag...

After a nice chase and a couple of attacks on the flag we stopped, I directly took down the flag and it came clse to us on the ground, and trodded under the truck...thing is, the weather in the desert at ~dusk turns suddenly quite cold, so I guess it was getting heated from the engine...

It seemed definitely bred and owned by someone and these things fetch close to 10K USD...suddenly we see a sole 4 door Patrol pass us full of Local Arabs and the Falcon darts towards them...

That was it...then another Patrol passed along the same route...

THE END...

I'll try to get you more info, as a friend of mine hunts with Falcons...

Too cool! When I worked on the 26th floor, one came and sat on the ledge outside my window for about five hours. So beautiful. I knew when I saw the leg ties that he was a somewhat tame bird.

I'm surprised that someone who could afford a peregrine would be driving something as mundane as a Nissan :)

Hunting falcons are VERY, VERY rare in the US (did I mention how rare they are?)

Nissan Patrols are as expensive as Defenders here, and are usually easier and cheaper to maintain...("the truth")...

So I need papers for 1 x Disco, 1 x Def and 2 x Falcons, right? :)

Cheers!

Hey PT, there are still a few falconry clubs around. I know there are some in CO. I used to go with them and watch them hunt-- awesome. They use hawks primarily though.
