Hi have a coolant leak right at the plenum chamber heating. this is the 2nd time. I think I'll be able to fix this myself. but, does these need to be there? can I just join the two hoses to bypass the plenum? what would be lost by not heating the air intake at this point?

Thanks!

Don't bypass it. Its a very easy fix. It seriously takes like 15 min. Its easier to just pull the throttle body off. All you need is a TB gasket and a heater plate gasket.
