Power Steering box line size?

Hey guys,

I'm in the midst of repairing a bunch of cooling system damage caused by a fan failure and discovered that the hard line running between sections of my steering box is smashed/crimped. I know this line has been discussed a couple times, but can anyone definitely tell me what size it is?

Given more time, I can could go the custom hydraulic hose route suggested here http://discoweb.org/forums/showthread.php?t=52656, but I was hoping to cobble this back together and still make it to the Robesonia Trials this weekend, and I don't have the truck directly in front of me again until tonight. Any info on the size of the line would be greatly appreciated...

I'm not sure of the size. I just ordered one (with a bunch of other stuff to put power steering on the defender) from England. Rovahfarm shows to stock it though, pretty cheap too:

Yeah, I guess I forgot to state that this is for my '99 D2. The above looks to be for the D1/RRC and doesn't look quite the same as the pipe for the D2 Steering box.

D2 is quite a bit more money, and I don't see it in stock at most places, except in england.

It looks like dealer list is only $20, maybe a big dealer would have it?

About £16 plus postage etc in the UK.

It's 0.312" 5/16" OD, just measured Philip's as his engine is all stripped out and I could get a vernier onto the pipe.
