sorry to those who were his friends.... pass this thread along to the family.... most of us may be strangers to them but i know a big collective prayer will mean a lot....

sure looks like he lived it up while he was here....

Unbelievable the same as most I saw him at MARs and the Cove We spoke a lot and got to know each other after I bought the Rovertym Disco from him

A sad story indeed just makes you wish you had spent more time hanging when we could

Been communicating with Mike's wife, Windy, throughout the day today. She's currently in Chicago handling business. There will be a memorial service planned soon back in Virginia and someone will post those details here on Dweb for those who are interested.

Holy shit, this guy went out of his way to deliver my roof rack, super guy, he taught me how to install a locker 101 in five minutes. I saw that Chevy Series, bad to the bone for sure.

Hey all, just wanted to pass on a word of thanks on behalf of Winday, Maddy and the rest of the family. In spite of all the BS we toss around on a regular basis, you all know how to pull together when it really counts.

Thanks again,
Dan Prasada-Rao

Real, real sad news. Cant believe we were just bullshitting and drinking beers around a fire a month ago, and now he is gone. Its sad that it takes a tragic event such as this to make you stop and think about how life can be gone in an instant. My thoughts go out to his family.

This is very sad. I send my condolences to his family and friends. I had a bad stroke a year ago last month at 41 years old and still recovering, wth is going on?

i've passed this along to the HardrockCrawlers and MarylandCreepers. Please pass this along on your Facebook pages as well.

Maybe everyone heading to Rovers on the Rocks could bring a stuffed animal or something for Maddy? if Dan Rao doesn't make it up to Rausch this saturday, i know the rest of the hardrockcrawlers will be there, and they can get them to Dan to get to Windy.

I'm very sad to hear this! Mike was a damn nice guy and always willing to help a fellow Rover-Nut. I'll miss seeing that truck...

A good man!!!

dan r. is planning on bringing mike's truggy up this weekend. his group (hardrockcrawlers) are at rausch for their turkey run the same weekend as rovers on the rocks.

the plan is to fill it with stuffed animals, for mike's daughter. if you can make it to rovers on the rocks and if you can take a minute to pick up a stuffed animal, mike's truggy will be near the rock course.
