FoCo is a college town.
And there may be cattle.
As I recall, it is also a slaughterhouse town.
To the good, you can't have a slaughter without laughter!
CO Springs does have the Focus on the Family headquarters.
They are, as you may have heard, a tad more conservative than most folks.
And by "a tad more conservative than most folks", I mean "hyper conservative busy-body asshats".
But I digress.
FotF doesn't control COS, in fact, I'd say FotF has less impact on COS than CSU has on FoCo.
COS is also home to the US Air Force Academy, Pike's Peak & Garden of the Gods.
Cheyenne Mountain is there, NORAD is no longer hiding inside, from what I hear.
COS has a little airport, FoCo does not.
COS is probably a little "quieter" than FoCo, what with those young college punks and their rock and roll music.
Neither is particularly close to Steamboat, as I'm sure you've noticed.
Personally, I'd probably go with COS. But I'm a stodgy old fuck.
Edit Add:
Politically, COS is conservative republican, I don't know about FoCo.
COS did that recall thing when a state congresscritter voted in favor of gun control.
As midget mayor mike bloomtard says, that part of the world only has dirt roads.
Of course, since he's a cunt new yorker, he thinks pavement is a good thing.
