Hey Guys, Just got my 92 legal by passing smog and getting registered. Now working on getting it safe to drive. Rotors are rusted pretty bad and will need new pads. Been looking at the EBC brake kit from atlantic british but found a set of slotted rotors and pads for $213 from R1 Concepts. http://www.r1concepts.com/Items/Combo Pkg 148?

Was wondering if anybody had any experience with them and their brakes. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

How are they any different from the eBay no-name ones for less $?
When it comes to brakes, I'd tend to spend the $ on name brand stuff.

If Your Interested Ive Got A Set Of Just Front Rotors From Ebc Still In The Box Id Sell For $150 + S/h

I Would Recommend Ebc Green Pads Though

If it's the same make as OEM, then they are OEM. OEM for the Disco is Delphi/Lockheed

I might be interested but need to wait for funds to become available but I'm thinking buying the whole kit from Atlantic British might come out a bit cheaper after shipping but we'll definately keep you in mind as I continue to shop around.

I'd Have To Say That The Slotted Are A Small Draw Back Off Road But My Situation Was That I Got Sent These Ebc By Accident So Im Using Them...

The Oem Manufacture Is Less Expesive Because Of No Land Rover Packaging And Handling By Land Rover...yes Lockheed, Feredo Delphi All Oem Suppliers Just Not In The Nice White Land Rover Boxes:)

Hey guys, I saw this thread today, and thought I'd respond and answer any questions you might have. The rotors that we have are not cheap rotors, inexpensive yes. The reason that these prices are so low is because we are a manufacture ourselves.

We've been in the business for about 6-7 years manufacturing rotors for other brand names out there, which I can not go into detail with. It is just recently that we've started to advertise on the interent. Therefore, our name is not well recognized. However, it is my opinion that when you buy rotors for a higher price, you're simply paying for the name of the product.

If there are any designs that you want, like any other company name, you can ask us. We can machine the rotors according to any style. Our rotors come with 90 days warranty against cracking or warping. Most other companies will not offer any type of warranty for aftermarket products.

I do agree with those who think the website is of poor quality. However, I'm working with a group of designers who will be redesigning our marketing campaign as well as the website.

Just ordered a pair of front pads and rotors for my daughters truck, wanted OEM style, no drilling or slots. I received front and rear pads and rotors, drilled and slotted. I tried calling several times but either got a busy signal or noone answered. I don't have time to wait another week for the correct parts so I'll install the fronts and see how they perform. I'll let you guys know how I feel about them in a couple of months...

Sorry for the mistake. But then again, I think you got a better deal than you bought considering that drilled slotted rotors cost more.

Wow, so Napa will sell new rotors that cheap? Or do they turn your existing rotors? Or do they require a core? Or do they require "special favors" for the manager in the back?
