Did I do something to make my radio stay on after the ign key is turned off and removed??? I cleaned the underside of the Valdeez this weekend and jumped the 95 D1 off with my 03 D2. Now when I turn the 03 off, the radio stays on???? Any ideas on this?

i think this has happened to me before. I think it is a "luxury" feature you have somehow opened. I thought it was pretty neat at the time.
Kinda like the time I supposedly superlocked my girlfriend inside the truck..... I thought that was cool too.

I could be all wrong... I think it is a feature of truck.

Our D2's all do funny shit at some point in time. I vaguely remember a similar radio deal. I think i even did it again on purpose. Did you look in the owners manual? Hold power button for like 5 seconds or something........???????? It was a long time ago..... sorry not much help. But if i did figure it out, i bet i read it in the manual.

I still cant believe she could not get out of the truck.

FYI..... after key is removed, if you hold the power button(on radio) in for a few seconds, the radio will come on. Tried it last night, even locked the doors and went into store. Came back out, radio was sill on.
to turn off, simply pushed the power button again.

The same thing happened to me last weekend out in the woods. I was playing the radio, then rotated the key cylinder and pulled the key out...radio stayed on. I was going to check the manual but I haven't yet.

It obviously sounds like a "feature."
