For such a sensitive, whiny bitch about being hit on over the internet, you sure are a graphic talker...

That's a good way to lose businees, you know, if that's what he was going for...

Disco Jen, what you need to do is go to the closest parts store and ask for Brake Quiet. It is
like a graphite substance that is applied to the pad material itself. Read the directions on how long it stays on the pads before reinstalling the pads. You will have to use some sandpaper or other
abrasive material to remove the glaze from pads and rotors, before applying. Then on the back of the pad, using high temp brake grease, lubricate all of the back of pads even the sides. (Do not get the grease on the pads though). Sometimes high pitch frequency noises occur when the pad is moving around when braking, thus the noise is coming from the back of the pads. Hopefully doing both of these things will eliminate the squeak.

Post and let us know how you make out.

It's not me. Someone at another site pointed me to this thread, and I re-regsitered with DWeb (been off since, oh, March or so) to post this. I'm not an insurance salesman, and I'm not anywhere near Texas. As my very public profile states, I live in Wisconsin.

I don't know Melissa enough to post something like that, and I don't feel the need to gain courage through anonymity. Not sure who called her a hypocrite based on her comments, just wanted to make it clear it wasn't me.

Now, back to the thread?
