Leaving for Alaska soon and will be taking the disco behind the RV. I have a 3" RTE lift plus a 1" spacer in the rear and 33" tires. My rear OME shocks suck. They are way to soft and have been abused.

I will be carrying all my kit and a small freezer to bring back fish in so there will be some weight back there. I also plan to scrap the Toyo tires that have started wearing funny and vibrate the shit out of the truck. Going BFG KM2s I think.

OK boys let the suggestions fly!

If you're towing the disco behind the RV, why do you care what the rides like? Won't you be sitting in the RV?

I towing it up there to use. I use the shit out of my disco.

Pulled the trigger and ordered TFs fro Lucky 8

Which ones did you get? I go the regular +2" and have been very happy so far.

Can anyone confirm this, I was told by a Canadian Landrover owner that Terra firma uses cheap oil and in the cold, below freezing it goes solid and slows through the valving, Your landrover feels like a unsprung nightmare rattling everything inside. I have used the OME old style twin tube and the ride was good for 4 years but now have to decide between the new hybrid OME or the Terra Firma if someone who has used them in cold climates will chime in :victory:
