Well, I'm assessing the damage that my wife did in Wednesday's snow storm. Here's my question. Both airbags blew when she hit the guardrail. How difficult is it to replace? I know that replacing the actual bags is not all that difficult. What about the sensors and control module? I assume they will have to go as well.

bags and the control module for sure. you will also have to program the module to the car. reset the crash sensor too.
you can use used bags, but the module has to be new....

sounds like a great time for real springs... the trucks drive better with real springs anyways.

Springs would probably do more damge than prevent it. Can't imagine bouncing my face off of a set of springs.;)

most insurance will total a car/truck once the airbags deploy...even if it's very repairable
