That is sad new, I got into Pink Floyd music from the album," The Pulse." They make amazing music. Anything before the Dark Side is good, to me "Wish you were here" is the album I like the most.

One of the best lines of all time...

"Did you exchange a walk-on part in the war for a lead role in a cage"

:applause: :applause: :applause: Yeah a lot of extreme contrast in this song.

Because of my English, I didn't get the whole idea of this song, but from the tone, and the rhythm, it just gave me an impression that life just goes round and round, don't know why I felt that.

You know how the intro of the song, right. Kind of like listening the radio tuning away from "Have a cigar" and tune into another radio station playing "wish you were here" and then one guy picks up the guitar following the rhythm.
And when I tried to play this song, with my guitar, I felt like I was in the same position as the guy in the song trying to follow the song play in the radio. Kind of funny.

Pink Floyd is the best band of all time!

My favorite: Animals

Animals is one of my all time favorites, im dating myself but Animals was the first album I purchased and it was in 8 track format, now its all in mp3 format... Funny when I crank up Dogs and my Great Dane goes nuts... there must be some canine subliminal message there...

I did get to see the Australian tribute band last year, it was an awesome show IMO...

Seamus gets my dogs going every time, I saw a clip of them taping the song and the dog on Seamus was an Afghan Hound.
