Anyone worked with them on some "major" repairs. Jon gave me some good insight and he was really enthusiastic and quick to answer my call. They seem to be a whole lot more reasonable than a dealer.

I brokered my D2 through John, he's extremely knowlagable and quite the enthusiast. I live about 2 hours from him, so I haven't had him do any work on my rig, but I would imagine he would be more than competent and fair.

I am trying to figure out if it is worth the tow expense to get it there. If they can save me $$ on the other end, then it's worth it, but it may turn to be a wash as going with the dealer.

Like all of the rest, he gets parts where they are available and least expensive/most reliable.

If I were in a position where I needed an independent and was nearby, he'd be my first choice.
