I'm in the middle of a head gasket change. I just got my heads back from the machine shop for the valve job and they look PURTY! :D

One question. I was looking at the rockers and noticed they are non-adjustable. Was there no provision to adjust them for wear over time? How does the engine then keep consistant lift on the valves?

Another question.

I have new head bolts. What are some of the techniques you guys have used to ensure you have the right torque? I've read you're supposed to torque to 15#, then turn 90* then another 90*. My machinist said there is a tool you can fit to your torque wrench that measures the 90* turn. I'm sure that will be very difficult with those back two bolts. What have you guys done?

The rockers are not adjustable due to the hydraulic lifters that are essentially self-adjusting.

Don't bother with the angle torque gauge. Torque to the initial torque. Use a paint pen andmake a mark from the top of the bolt to the halfway mark. Turn 90', then turn 90' and the mark will be pointing downward and you know you're done!
